![]() ![]() The only new career introduced is one is babysitting. Teenagers can also be taught how to drive – an example of how Generations’ goal is to emphasize important moments and achievements throughout the many stages of life. Going hand in hand with this is a kid’s ability to beg for mercy from their parents when they’ve pissed them off (whether it’s from being rebellious and having an attitude or flunking out of school). In this respect, Generations might just be the most useful of the Sims expansion packs.Ī few notable additions: They’ve added a ‘rebellious’ trait to the possible characteristics your Sims can embody. You’ve got to wait until they grow up, which is annoying until they become teenagers, where they can finally have a life. Kids have access to NONE of these because, duh, they’re kids. Ghost detective, interior designer – no more working part time at the book store or having to suck up to neighbors to get enough friends to be promoted in the corporate world (although those jobs are still available). What made Ambitions fantastic was that it delivered all the awesome professions we’d been waiting for. You’re basically waiting for them to grow up so you can teach them to cook, garden, play guitar etc. Before being able to pull pranks and play make-believe with imaginary friends, controlling Sim kids was absolutely boring. It’s about time they gave Sim kids more actions. Kids also have more actions such as planting a prank or begging for forgiveness when they’ve ticked their parents off. Hopscotch, a tree fort, a costume chest (where you can dress as a dinosaur or princess – adorable!), and a see-saw are just some of the awesome accessories you can play with. The most notable addition is definitely in the children’s toys department. Hopefully with future expansions, the clothes will be a little more tasteful. There are about three new dress/suit/abominations that allow you dress your Sim like a post-pregnant Hilary Clinton. The same could be said for the female clothes addition. If you were to buy these outfits in real life, well, your child would probably get beaten up in school. The children’s hairstyle options have widened with some cute new styles, however the clothes added are…hideous. For Generations, these additions are hot and cold. ![]() As with every expansion, there’s the addition of new hair and clothing styles, along with some new furniture and accessories.

I want you to wake up every morning and remember who you are and why you’re here. Its not just the fact that this game is set in a horror-themed universe that makes it so compelling. Its the fact that it’s set in an environment where death always seems so close that you might not be able to avoid it if you had your life to live over. The game is about a group of people who are trying to survive an apocalypse, and it is set in a space that is constantly littered with graveyards, and they’re always in danger of being wiped out. The game is set in a space that is littered with graveyards, and its always dangerous to stay there. The game starts as a group of people who find themselves in a dark cave, and they decide that they need to escape. They create a sort of time machine and take a brief trip back, only to be confronted by the same thing that they just escaped. The cave where they are now, is a graveyard. The game is set into space that is littered with graveyards, and its always dangerous to stay there. That’s the background we’ve been given in gameplay footage of the game, but that’s just the beginning of what we’re about to see. For starters, we get what looks like a very generic background with a few images of tomb raider characters fighting from the tomb raider. ![]() In the game, we’re going to see a lot of tomb raider characters fighting from the tomb raider. The tomb raider is the most iconic and well-known of all of indie games, and this is one of the first ones to get a full-blown, full-size, look of those tomb raider games. The tomb raider is a game about a group of people who come together to fight for a piece of heaven. The fact that this is a game that is violent, gory, and funny is what makes this one of the best games of 2015. It’s one of the best indie games, period. But for a game that’s about a group of people who come together to fight for a piece of heaven, it’s also one of the most unique games to come out in a while. This is a game that is both a very violent, gory, and very funny game. But for a game thats about a group of people who come together to fight for a piece of heaven, its also one of the most unique games to come out in a while. The developers of this game worked very closely with the producers of games like Resident Evil, which is why the game has a very eerie atmosphere. It’s also one of the first games I’ve played where I felt like I was in the middle of a game. I thought its about killing zombies but then I realized it was a shooting game. ![]() I love the game’s atmosphere in that it has a very heavy atmosphere to it, but the game also gets extremely intense when its players are trying to kill each other. I actually don’t think it’s a very good example of postmortem horror because it’s not about the person being dead or anything like that. Its about the people trying to kill each other because they have an intense desire to do so.Looking for tomb raider 3? While they’re drinking with this manager, Cougar walks into the room. Carter called her but he only talked to her maid who answered the phone. Apparently the manager guy had formerly had Rod Stewart as a client and had his ex girlfriend’s number. They’re drinking with this guy at his hotel and Carter talks the manager into giving him Britt Ekland’s phone number in L.A. I don’t know if its the same guy who renamed him “Cougar” after his automobile or not. Brewster and Carter were at this Cougar (Mellencamp) show, which was in support of his second major label LP Nothing Matters And What If It Did – and somehow Carter and Brewster ended up partying with Cougar’s manager. Once again, I was not invited… I’m beginning to see a trend. Right after we’d got to high school my buddy Brewster – of the infamous River tour snub – went to see John Cougar (as Mellencamp was known back then) with a guy I’ll call Carter (name changed to protect the very, very guilty). ![]() My journey to Mellencamp was a tad more circuitous. I left that party with nothing more than a nice beer buzz and the determination to purchase Born To Run immediately… once the beer wore off, which I did. I was sitting in this guy’s backyard, not far from the kegs talking to these two girls who while only one year older were still just out of reach. I’m embarrassed to admit, the first time I heard Born To Run in it’s entirety was at a Senior Skip Day party when I was a mere junior in high school… but that was all the way in 1981. That album led me to a lifetime of listening to Springsteen with and without the E Street Band. I still have a great fondness for that album even though my friend Brewster didn’t take me with him to the concert in KC on that tour… bygones. And believe me, when you’re in high school on an allowance a double-album was a big investment. The River ended up being my first Springsteen LP purchase. I’d heard some of the tracks from Darkness On The Edge Of Town on the radio, but I was still too newly converted to the church rock n roll and I’m not sure I realized all of the Darkness songs were Springsteen. My entry point to any artist back then was what was playing on the radio after I’d become rock n roll conscious and for Springsteen that was The River. I got into Springsteen when The River came out. To quote one of my favorite comedies, “Cats living with dogs, MASS HYSTERIA!” Mellencamp was all Farm Aid and Springsteen was out with Amnesty International… But listening to these cagey old veterans, they’re a great fit. It’s a bit of odd pairing… I always thought of Springsteen as a more natural fit for a duet with Bob Seger… those guys were pals back then. ![]() Mellencamp went on a incredible run of LPs starting with Uh-Huh (at least for me) to Scarecrow to The Lonesome Jubilee. Springsteen was in that whole Born In The U.S.A. While both these artists have had long and remarkable careers, even I will admit in the 80s they were part of the dominant rock scene that just doesn’t exist anymore. If it were say, 1986, this track would be the Number 1 song in the universe. There was a time, sadly long passed, when I think this song would be getting a Hell of a lot more attention. Well… maybe not a Clash… maybe it’s more like the Harmonizing Of The Titans. How is this song not blasting out of every radio, everywhere? Mellencamp? Springsteen? Together? Singing on the same song?! This is like the Clash of the Titans. |
